Missions & Outreach
Sending Ministries are what we do to intentionally reach our neighbors and nations. We desire to be laser focused on what God has called the local church to do. To do this, we raise up leaders so they can live sent in our community and be sent across the world. We believe in empowering leaders to push the Gospel forward . So rather than getting spread thin by running everything through the church, we desire to equip and empower everyday people to do Gospel-centered outreach in Athens (neighbors) and around the world (nations).
Family Ministries
Our family ministries which consist of Konnection Kids and Connection Students are designed to partner with parents to connect them to a growing relationship with Jesus. We believe the most important disciples to be made in our life are the kids God has entrusted to us. We don't believe programs or processes do this. We believe parents partnering with the local church do.
Community
Group Life, usually called Connect Groups, are small groups of people that experience true community with one another. We don't believe God designed us to live the Christian life alone, but rather lived closely with other believers. Discipleship and community doesn't happen by belonging to a "church," but by belonging to a group of people.
Worship Services
We worship God! The Gospel drives our worship. We are called to worship God with other people and with everything we do: serving, working, eating, talking, and corporate worship services are an extension of this. During our services we worship God together through singing, expositional teaching of the Bible, praying together, and celebrating baptism and taking communion. It's one of our greatest joys to worship Jesus with other believers!
